-- Mother Teresa

Greetings and welcome to Trinity Foundation!!! At the outset on behalf of Trinity Foundation we promise to continue to work for and with children, their parents, guardians and communities to ensure that;

-- Children are educated.
-- Children are healthy and well-nourished.
-- Children are safe and well aware of their basic rights.
-- Children participate in their own development.
-- Children are valued, cared for and feel loved in the community.

Trinity Foundation would like to express its heartfelt thank to all our benefactors and beneficiaries for trusting us. We are fortunate to work with you and hope that we can continue to have opportunities to work together. I am confident that Trinity Foundation will continue to work successfully to bring relief to those who suffer from burden of hunger, poverty, lack of basic education, disease and discrimination.

The journey from birth, to infancy, to adolescence, to now attaining the majority status has been indeed very enriching, and that of continuous change. Our quest to learn, zeal to give outstanding service, desire to grow and the dream to become an organization with eminence and difference in our domain space, has allowed us to lay a strong foundation. And one of the most important things that have kept us going is the smile on the face of our children and beneficiaries and their words of gratitude.

With regards
Biman Raj Chettri

His Journey Towards Service...

Biman Chettri is the youngest sibling of his four brothers and one sister and raised in a Christian lower-middle class family in the beautiful hamlet village of St. Marys Hill, Kurseong, Dist. Darjeeling, India. His father popularly known as Boley Sir, was one of the most ardent and respected teacher of his time at St. Alphonsus High School and still respected and admire for his simplicity, dedication, sincerity and teaching and he was knew as human typewriter for his amazing handwriting. His mother famously known as Thirja Didi was active social activist. People still remember her for charismatic jolly character, charity and conflict settlement intervention of any critical issues and problems in the society. His faithful parents always lived a life of example to their children and to others also.

The legacy of helping needy and spirit of social work and charity is been inherited to Biman Chettri as a gift from both parents. All parents want their children to excel in some profession but his mother encouraged him to be a social-activist and teacher and to be voice of downtrodden and charitable for the service to the poorest of the poor through Christian life, prayer and example.

While perusing his Graduation at St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling, his father expired and he had to complete his gradation through financial support of then Principal Rev. Fr.Papadil and no family income situation compelled him to adopt professional course of CA to sustain himself and pursue his education simultaneously. After completion of CA(Inter) and M.Com he decided that time has come to listen to his heart and pursue his vision of becoming educationist and social activist through Christian philosophy.

To live to the expectation of his parents and their guidance and his inner call to be educationist, he started the first educational project by opening Saint Paul’s School in the year 2000 at the age of 23 from nothing and without knowing future but he had always practice sincerity, dedication, integrity, prayer and hard work with love and compassion for the people irrespective of their any background. In this endeavor his mother was always by his side encouraging and blessing but with the sad demise of his mother 2009 due to cancer, which turn out to create vacuum in his life and the School was handed over to run through his elder brother after making one of the best, renowned and reputed school catering to more than 1500 students affiliated with ICSE, New-Delhi.

After a gap of a year due to sad and sudden demise of his mother he perused his vision with renewed zeal and courage to compliment his mother contribution and as a result Trinity Foundation was born on 3rd August, 2010. Started from grassroot with nothing but last 10 years through hard work, sincerity, integrity and devotion Trinity Foundation grown to what it is now.

He believes in working in the ground level reaching and serving the poorest of the poor trying to bestow them the right to live with dignity and self-respect. He serves children and people in need selflessly as his vocation maintains very low public profile, with no publicity and show-off. However, in the past few years society has come forward to recognize his contribution towards the society and awarded with Vivek Path Saman and Avantika A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Award.

He always encouraged the people to help and live for each other as he says that the happiest people ever lived and known in his world are those who lose themselves in the service of others.

His Journey of service continues...
